What this covers

This policy covers personal information collected through this website. It does not cover information handled inside a client engagement, which is governed by the agreement for that work.

Who is responsible

Logos Conseil Inc., a company incorporated in Quebec, Canada, is responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

Our Privacy Officer is the person responsible for the protection of personal information here, and is the person to contact about anything on this page. Write to privacy@logosconseil.com.

The contact form

If you write to us through the form, we collect your name, email address, and the problem you describe. We collect it for one purpose: to read your message and reply to you. Submitting the form is how you consent to that, and the three fields are all we ask for.

We use this information only to respond to you and to any conversation that follows. We do not sell it, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use it to build a profile or to make any automated decision about you.

Analytics and server logs

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit this site and which pages they read. It is designed not to use cookies and not to fingerprint visitors, and we do not use it to identify anyone.

Our hosting and network providers also record the technical information any web request produces — IP address, browser, and the page requested — in ordinary server logs. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.

How long we keep it

We delete contact-form correspondence 12 months after the last message in the exchange, unless the enquiry became a client engagement — in which case the records that belong to that engagement are kept for as long as our professional and legal obligations require, and deleted after that.

Information stored outside Quebec

This is a static website. The files are hosted by Render, Cloudflare provides DNS and the analytics described above, and Formspree receives contact-form submissions so they can be forwarded to us. Our email runs on Google Workspace.

All four operate outside Quebec, primarily in the United States. Your information is therefore stored and processed outside the province, where it may be subject to the laws of the country it is held in. We assess this before entrusting information to a provider, and we choose providers that commit contractually to protecting it.

Your rights

Under Quebec’s Law 25 and Canadian federal privacy law, you may ask us to:

  • confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and give you access to it;
  • correct it if it is inaccurate, incomplete, or ambiguous;
  • delete it, or stop distributing it, where the law allows;
  • give you a computerised copy of what you provided to us;
  • withdraw the consent you gave by writing to us.

Write to privacy@logosconseil.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

If you are not satisfied

Tell us first and we will try to put it right. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, or to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies, does not use local storage to track you, and does no advertising or cross-site tracking.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
